As a longtime (30 year) resident of Norwood, I was sadly taken aback to see the former 7-Eleven on the Avenue converted to a liquor outlet.

Community leagues and volunteers have worked tirelessly to improve the area. All residents have been rewarded by the influx of young families enjoying unique family-owned businesses, beautiful front lawns and backyards, unique homes, and safe sidewalks to walk on.

I, for one, will boycott this liquor outlet and can only hope others will do the same.

I am forwarding this to Alberta Avenue Business Association, Tony Caterina (Ward 7 councillor), Mayor Don Iveson, and the City Planning and Licensing Department.
